Malmöbolaget Remotive Labs kliver in i Google Clouds fordonssatsning
Malmöbolaget Remotive Labs inleder ett samarbete med Google Cloud för att integrera sin mjukvara i utvecklingsplattformen Horizon. Bolagets teknik gör det möjligt för biltillverkare att testa fordonets hela elsystem virtuellt i molnet.

Remotive Labs mjukvaruplattform Remotive Topology blir tillgänglig på Google Clouds öppna utvecklingsplattform Horizon. Det meddelar bolaget på sin webbplats. Genom samarbetet tillhandahåller Remotive Labs en körbar modell av bilens virtualiserade el- och elektronikarkitektur. Det gör det möjligt att testa alla noder i relation till hela fordonet långt innan en fysisk bil existerar, uppger Florian Haubner, branscharkitektledare på Google Cloud.
Bolaget, som enligt egen uppgift grundades 2020 i Malmö, låter ingenjörer hantera fordonets system som versionshanterad kod. Enligt bolaget används lösningen Remotive Topology redan av fordonstillverkare och teknikbolag som Volvo Cars, Ford, Horse Powertrain och Here Technologies, och stöds av Arm för virtuell integration.
Enligt bolagets vd och medgrundare Per Sigurdson är målet att låta tillverkare äga sin mjukvara på egna villkor och flytta integrationstester tidigare i processen. Remotive Labs plattform kör samma nätverkskommunikation som det färdiga fordonet, vilket även gör det möjligt att ansluta virtuella system till fysisk hårdvara och använda AI-verktyg för tester på systemnivå.
